PEARLS Media Disclosure

By entering an event or program of PEARLS for Teen Girls, Inc. (“PEARLS”) you are entering an area where photography, audio and video recording may occur.

Your entry and presence on any legitimate event or group premises constitutes your consent to be photographed, filmed, and/or otherwise recorded and to the release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction of any and all recorded media of your appearance, voice, and name for any purpose whatsoever in perpetuity in connection with PEARLS, its initiatives and partners, including, by way of example only, use on websites, in social media, news and advertising.

By entering event premises, you waive and release any claims you may have related to the use of recorded media of you at the event, including, without limitation, any right to inspect or approve the photo, video or audio recording of you, any claims for invasion of privacy, violation of the right of publicity, defamation, and copyright infringement or for any fees for use of such record media.

You understand that all photography, filming and/or recording will be done in reliance on this consent. If you do not agree to the foregoing, please do not enter the event premises.

Collection of Personal Information

PEARLS for Teen Girls, Inc. (“PEARLS”) maintains participant records, which include, but are not limited to, attendance in PEARLS activities, demonstrated achievement in alignment with PEARLS’ Points of Compass, and other personal accomplishments as identified by program participants and/or PEARLS staff. This information is utilized to support each participant’s personal growth and development and may be shared with the participant and their parent or legal guardian for this purpose.

Additionally, participant data is used to assess the impact of the PEARLS program on individual and collective participant growth, evaluate program effectiveness, and secure ongoing funding for the organization. Such data may also be incorporated into formal evaluation reports and other publications regarding PEARLS and its work. In all research reports and public-facing materials, the identities of program participants shall remain strictly confidential.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Programming Campaign

By providing your mobile phone number, you consent to receive SMS messages from PEARLS related to programming services, group reminders, client information, and any other relevant information.

Marketing Campaign

By providing your mobile phone number, you consent to receive SMS messages from PEARLS related to organizational updates, events, and fundraising opportunities.

General

When you opt-in to messaging service, we will send you a message to confirm your signup. By opting into messages, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing and informational text messages from PEARLS. Automated messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system to the mobile telephone number you provided when signing up or any other number that you designate.

Messaging Frequency

Message frequency varies, and additional mobile messages may be sent periodically based on your interaction with PEARLS. PEARLS reserves the right to alter the frequency of messages sent at any time to increase or decrease the total number of sent messages.

Message and data rates may apply. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider. Your wireless provider is not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Your consent to receive marketing messages is not a condition of service or participation.

Cancellation or Opting Out

You can cancel any time by texting "STOP". After you send the SMS message "STOP", we will send you a confirmation message and we will cease sending SMS messages to your number.

Transfer of number

You agree that before changing your mobile number or transferring your mobile number to another individual, you will either reply “STOP” from the original number or notify us of your old number at info@pearlsforteengirls.com. The duty to inform us based on the above events is a condition of using this service to receive messages.

Privacy Policy

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Your phone number will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available above. We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties except as required by laws.
