Volunteering to Make an Impact

The goal of the PEARLS Volunteer Program is to create meaningful relationships that add real value to the lives of both the girls and the volunteers. The program is designed to provide community members with opportunities to share their skills, experience, resources, and hearts with the girls of PEARLS. 

Women and men, professionals, students, and parents who want to be positive role models are invited to submit a volunteer application. We are looking for individuals capable of modeling the PEARLS attributes of Personal responsibility, Empathy, Awareness of self and others, Respect, Leadership and Support. Volunteers must be positive, progressive thinkers who believe in their own personal power and who can translate that belief into meaningful action. 

Volunteers who are comfortable working and communicating with teen girls are essential. It is also critical that volunteers be open to diverse cultures and to building their own multicultural competency skills.
